If you or a relative requires a home visit please, telephone before 10:00 am to arrange, as the GPs do their home visiting in the late mornings.
The home visiting service is reserved for genuinely housebound patients. The practice keeps a register of housebound patients and has a follow-up system to keep housebound patients under review. However, if you know of someone who you think is overdue a visit from the GP or Nurse please let us know.
When I am ill, should I ask for a home visit?
Patients who are normally mobile but have an acute illness are normally best assessed and treated in the surgery premises.
The GPs have invested in full medical equipment and maintain a full drug dispensary.This means that most patients can now be fully investigated and then supplied with treatment straight away.
